International design competition of Taiwan Tower

International design competition of Taiwan Tower

Concept Of Design
  1. What kind of “tower” can represent “Taiwan”?

We believe that it should help one to associate with Taiwan in terms of “height,” “shape,” and “connotation.”

  1. How does this “tower” reflect both the “local” and “international” characteristics of Taiwan?

“Formosa” remains synonymous with the designation as “beautiful and previous island.” Therefore, how the characteristics of “sustainability” can be indicated so that it becomes the common language for Taiwan Tower to seamlessly track with “international” has become an issue.

  1. How can Taiwan Tower avoid competition in the endless pursuit of “height ?”

What we value is the virtual concept of “infinite height.” Also, we can also try for the dynamic concept of “growth.”
